Description

ELEMER-BRIZ intrinsic safety barriers are a line of active and passive barriers by ELEMER, a functional equivalent of Western solutions from MTL, Pepper+Fuchs, Turck and Weidmuller. Installed in control cabinets, they provide intrinsically safe power and signal transmission for sensors in hazardous areas.

The line includes 8 modifications: the universal BRIZ MT-XX, the interface line barrier BRIZ 485-Ex, the active branching-isolating unit BRIZ 420-Ex (1-2 channels, 4-20 mA HART-transparent, SIL 2), the current regulator BRIZ 420R-Ex, the discrete NAMUR-signal barrier BRIZ NAM-Ex, the temperature barriers BRIZ TM1-Ex and TM2-Ex, and a compact passive barrier BRIZ.
