3300 XL Eddy Current Probes on Large Fans | Bently Nevada — KEG TRK

When a casing sensor is not enough: radial and axial shaft monitoring on large fans and ID fans with 3300 XL, Proximitor and 3500. Installation, calibration and gap interpretation.

⚠️ EN version — draft. Ready to publish once kk/en routing (i18n) is implemented across the site.

A large fan or induced-draft fan has a rotor weighing 2–15 tonnes, running in journal or anti-friction bearings at 400–1500 rpm. A casing accelerometer or Velomitor on the pedestal shows overall structural vibration but does not directly measure shaft position in the bearing clearance. Yet clearance is the first parameter to change with axial rub, thrust bearing damage, loose impeller retention and blade cracks.
