Fan and Induced Draft Fan Monitoring in Metallurgical Shops | Bently Nevada — KEG TRK

Fans and ID fans in blast furnace, steelmaking and rolling production: 3300 XL proximity, Velomitor, Orbit DCM and 3500. Typical faults, measurement points and protection from sudden failure.

⚠️ EN version — draft. Ready to publish once kk/en routing (i18n) is implemented across the site.

Fans and induced-draft fans in metallurgical shops are among the most heavily loaded rotating machines on site. They move hot, abrasive gas, run with bearing temperatures up to 90–110 °C and are often the only path for combustion products. An ID fan trip on a blast furnace or converter gas cleaning line is not a local issue — it risks shutting down the entire process stage.
