Typical tasks

  • Periodic route-based diagnostics (legacy installed base)
  • Acceptance testing of motors
  • Fault troubleshooting

Status: discontinued

Artesis AMT Toolkit (Asset Management Toolkit) was the first-generation portable case-based motor diagnostic kit, the predecessor of the current Artesis AMT Pro. The product has been discontinued; the current replacement is the sensorless, fully self-contained AMT Pro, with a 7-minute test instead of the previous ~30.

Description

The AMT Toolkit shipped in a transport case and included a laptop with the proprietary AES for AMT software, three current transformers and three voltage sensors. Connection was made directly to the motor cables at the terminals, after which the system logged data to a local SQL database and, at the end of the roughly 30-minute measurement cycle, generated a report: the list of detected faults, an estimated time-to-failure, recommended corrective actions, and the effect of the faults on energy efficiency.

This configuration — three current and three voltage sensors instead of clamp-on sensorless connection — was the key difference from the current AMT Pro and limited throughput to 8-12 tests per day, versus 40-50 for the current model.
