Overview
The IPLEX NX is the flagship industrial videoscope from Olympus (now the Evident brand). It is chosen for gas and steam turbines, compressors and aero engines — where a defect must not only be seen but measured accurately to decide whether repair is needed.
According to the manufacturer, the laser illumination is up to four times brighter, so distant areas of large cavities are easier to see. Stereo measurement is complemented by 3D defect modelling and Multi Spot-Ranging.
