Description
The ELEMER-M1L float-potentiometric level gauge is designed for continuous level measurement of liquids with density 600-1200 kg/m3 in tanks. Its operating principle is based on a float moving along a mounting rod fitted with reed switches, with the position converted to an electrical signal by a potentiometer.
Mounting length ranges from 400 to 6000 mm, with reed switch spacing of 5 or 10 mm and measurement accuracy of +-(5 + 2x10^-3 x H) mm or +-(10 + 2x10^-3 x H) mm, where H is the measured level. The instrument is rated for process pressure up to 2.5 MPa and temperature -30...+85 C. Output signal is 4-20 mA plus two adjustable relays, with LED indication. An explosion-proof Exd version is available.
