Overview
The OmniScan SX is a compact Olympus (now Evident) flaw detector for phased array and conventional ultrasonic testing. It is lighter and simpler than the X3 and X4 and suits routine weld inspection, TOFD and corrosion mapping.
Two versions are available: SX PA with 16:64PR phased array and SX UT for conventional UT. Both include a conventional UT channel for pulse-echo, pitch-catch and TOFD.
