Description

60M24 (Digital Out) is an Orbit 60 output module with TTL/CMOS-level digital outputs for transmitting logical alarm and status signals to external control systems. Unlike relay outputs, the digital signal is meant for direct connection to a PLC's digital inputs or other electronics.

The module installs into an Orbit 60 Series chassis (3U/6U) and works alongside the chassis's control and power modules — 60M01 SIM, 60M02 PPM, and 60M03 CMM. Channel configuration and diagnostics run through Orbit Studio, while trend analysis and data archiving run through System 1.

Where it's used

60M24 is used where equipment alarm or status logic needs to reach an external control system at the digital-signal level — typically when integrating with a site's PLC or other automation working directly with TTL/CMOS levels, without intermediate relay circuits.
